Where do Republic dog owners get their dogs groomed?

At our Springfield salon. Dapper Doodle is a locally owned grooming shop at 1929 E Independence St, Springfield, MO 65804, and it’s the only one we run. Rachel and Brandon groom, Breonna bathes and preps, and the team works together on every dog that comes in, whether they live around the corner or out in Republic.

Getting here from Republic

From Republic, head east on US-60, which becomes the James River Freeway as it runs along the south side of Springfield. Exit onto Glenstone Avenue, then turn onto East Independence Street.

Parking is right out front. When the groom is done we call you, so if you’d rather run errands in Springfield than drive home and back, that works.

The trails around Wilson’s Creek are a great walk. They are also full of hitchhikers: burrs, seed heads and the occasional tick looking for a ride. Check ears, armpits, belly and between the toes when you get home.

If the coat is past what a brush can handle, a bath and brush-out gets the debris and loose undercoat out. A flea and tick bath is on the menu too. It is a cleaning shampoo, not a replacement for the prevention your vet recommends.
